Becky Stuttard
BA MSc Economic and Business Strategy AdvisorBecky is a widely-recognised expert in the fields of spectrum policy and economics. Over the last decade she was a central figure in the development of Ofcom’s spectrum policy. Becky is an associate consultant with Real Wireless and other organisations, providing specialist advice on the economic, regulatory and strategy issues faced by users of the radio spectrum.
During her time at Ofcom Becky worked across a wide range of spectrum policy issues, both as an economic and policy director. This allowed her to develop a thorough understanding of how to bring together economic theory and spectrum policy with real world considerations. Her work included the development of a strategy for managing radio spectrum over the next 5-10 years, responsibility for developing solutions to the problem of mobile not-spots and shaping Ofcom’s approach to the long-term management of the UHF spectrum.
Becky has experience of working in both regulatory and consultancy environments, and is experienced at directing the work of large multi-disciplinary teams. She is comfortable presenting work on both a national and international stage and is adept at explaining spectrum policy issues to senior audiences. She previously held roles in economics and strategic advice at NERA, Andersen and OXERA.
