Julie Bradford
MEng CEng MIET Head of Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA)At Real Wireless, Julie specialises in the techno-economic assessment of wireless networks and is a thought leader in this area for advanced mobile architectures. She has a passion for delivering thorough, evidence-based answers to client questions rather than purely relying on opinions from others.
Recent projects include working with two city councils to develop a cost benefit analysis following the Green Book methodology to help both clients converge on the best wireless strategy to deliver against their spending objectives. Notably, Julie has also provided the commercial and socio-economic assessment of 5G and beyond network architectures and services across multiple European Commission projects, working alongside tier 1 European vendors and operators. These have included cost benefit analysis for advanced wireless infrastructure investment in ports, airports, museums, cities and healthcare settings.
Julie is also a champion for Virtualised Networks at Cambridge Wireless as well as a member of the board of directors. Previously, she was a Communications Engineer at QinetiQ, a Consultant at PA Consulting, and a Senior Systems Engineer for Airvana UK.
