Mike is a Wireless Consultant with a wide range of industry experience spanning 25 years, working with cellular, PMR, Wi-Fi and digital TV broadcasting technologies. After leading a team of Spectrum Planners at Arqiva he moved to Red-M where his work included developing Heathrow Airport’s radio and interference management strategy. He subsequently joined Freshwave and led cellular and PMR delivery assurance for the construction of Bloomberg’s award-winning £1bn London HQ. Other experience includes assessing EMF safety and compliance and radio propagation research. In 2020 Mike became Freshwave’s Head of Regulatory Affairs and was elected to techUK’s Communications Infrastructure and Services Council, where he served for 2 years.

More recently Mike’s work has focussed on spectrum management. This includes leading Freshwave’s interaction with Ofcom and DSIT through consultation and Statutory Information Request responses, and acquiring spectrum licences to help organisations exploit private networks both commercially and for innovation.
