Oliver has over 20 years of international telecoms experience in technical, commercial, advisory and leadership roles. He was the Chief Operating Officer at Real Wireless and oversaw our projects and their budgets and ensured all internal processes ran smoothly. Given his background and interest, his focus is often on wireless terrestrial projects, inbuilding solutions and railway coverage, involving 2G-5G, Wi-Fi, TETRA and ESN technologies. In the last three years, Oliver has also worked on projects for the European Commission, the UK Government (DfT, DCMS, Ofcom, NIC) and other international regulatory bodies, assessing future technologies, spectrum regulation and the impact of coverage obligations.

Oliver is a frequent speaker at industry events, an advisory board member at two start-up companies and a university guest lecturer.

In his earlier career, Oliver was CTO at FWA provider Luminet (where he executed the first post-auction spectrum trade in the UK), held senior positions at a DAS/IBW vendor and a mmWave OEM – where his product creation won industry awards – and he pioneered railway coverage at Orange Switzerland (train, tunnel and track coverage).
