Paul has immense wireless and fibre industry technical and commercial experience from a 2G to 5G career working across multiple domains for infrastructure providers, systems integrators, and equipment vendors. Paul was responsible for design and delivery of Vodafone’s London 2012 Olympics capacity, preceded and followed by international experience in Canada, US, Turkey and India. More recently he has specialised in external Systems Integration of VNFs and the smart use of infrastructure at CityFibre, AtlasEdge and WorldWide Technology, to deliver higher performance, lower cost, solutions with reduced Scope 2 & 3 emissions.

His areas of expertise include Open vRAN, Network densification, EdgeDC and Private Networks. He works closely with DISIT and Ofcom. His expertise in Local Access Licences has seen him being successful in more applications than all other bidders combined.

Paul is a regular speaker and question-raiser at industry events, a Cambridge Wireless SIG Champion, UKTIN Wireless Networking Expert Group Member and member of TechUK Telecoms Infrastructure Working Group.
