Most recently Rupert was VP of Strategic Marketing at Mindspeed, following the acquisition of Picochip where he had been VP of marketing. Here he was responsible for strategy, roadmap, product management and defined and led the industry standard technology solution for small cells.
Rupert was one of the founders of the Small Cell Forum and was elected to the board in 2007-2013 and chaired the Marketing Working Group. In that role he directed activities on business plan, primary consumer research and the Forum’s Release program. Previously, Rupert worked at Analog Devices in the USA, where he pioneered DSL chipsets and took them to market leadership. He has also worked for operators (CLECs Atlantic Telecom & first::telecom), responsible for new product launches and strategy; for a Venture Capital Fund and for technology strategy consultancy Arthur D Little.
