Real Wireless will be attending the IEEE Conference on Standards for Communications and Networking 2026 held in London 7-9 September. It is a leading technical conference bringing together experts from academia, industry, standards bodies and regulators to explore the future of communications and networking standards.

On Tuesday 8 September 2026, Professor Hassan Osman, Principal Consultant at Real Wireless and Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield, will be participating in Special Session 4: AI-Nativeness for 6G: Architectures and Technologies, taking place from 14:00–16:00.

The session will explore how AI-native approaches are shaping the architectures and technologies of future 6G networks, featuring talks including PAISES-6G – Pioneering AI-enhanced Secure 6G Services Framework and PROSPERO – Programmable and Scalable Operations for Efficient, Resource-Aware Architecture in 6G Networks.

Professor Osman brings extensive expertise in software development, machine learning and advanced wireless communication systems, with experience spanning B5G, 5G, Wi-Fi, LTE-LAA, satellite communications and AI-enabled LTE networks. His simulation and cost-modelling work has contributed directly to 3GPP standardisation activities, while his research and teaching focus on the application of AI/ML to PHY-layer innovation for 5G and 6G.
